Brandon and I met on Hinge back in 2020 during the pandemic—such a wild time to be dating, but somehow it all just worked out. What instantly drew me to him was his humor. He’s so witty and charming, and from the beginning, he just had this way of making me laugh and feel totally comfortable.

In 2021, we bought our first house together and started building our life side by side. We’ve both been super focused on our careers and future, always pushing each other to grow and keep dreaming bigger.

Fast forward to August 2024—I had just gotten back from an amazing vacation and business trip in Europe. I was definitely dealing with a little post-vacay depression, but Brandon was graduating from audio engineering school, so I was excited to celebrate him. What I didn’t expect was for him to propose at his graduation! I was so shocked, but instantly so happy. It completely turned my mood around and made the day unforgettable.

When we met, we were both really intentional about finding the right person to build a life with. Brandon had been through so much before I came into his life—he’d survived brain cancer, and heartbreakingly, lost his dad to it as well. That kind of life experience gives someone a deep perspective, and I think that’s part of what makes him so grounded and loving.

And something that meant the world to me—he loves my dogs, Gordy and Gretta, like they’re his own. That sealed the deal for me if I’m being honest!

We’ve been through so much already, and I just feel so lucky that we found each other when we did. This is only the beginning.
