About the Couple

The Story

We actually met in middle school, but only as friends at the time. We reconnected in high school through sports and started to get to know each other more through shared friendships and experiences. After high school, we went our separate ways for a season of life.

Later on, we unexpectedly reconnected while working together at Starbucks. Around that time, Susan started attending my church, which naturally brought us back into each other’s lives in a deeper way. As we spent more time together through friendship, church, and everyday life, our connection continued to grow. What started as friendship eventually turned into something more, and we began dating with a strong foundation of shared history, faith, and genuine care for one another.

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?

We want to capture our wedding because this is one of the most meaningful days of our lives, and we want to be able to relive it for years to come. Photos and video allow us to preserve not just how everything looked, but how it felt—the emotions, the people, the atmosphere, and the moments we may miss in the chaos of the day. It’s important to us to have something tangible we can look back on and eventually share with future family.

Why did you choose us?

You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?.. What’s important in life?

We are both deeply involved in our church community and serving others is a big part of our lives. We spend a lot of our time working, serving in ministry, and investing in people around us. Outside of that, we enjoy being with family and friends, building relationships, and creating meaningful experiences together. Faith, purpose, and community are really important to us, and we try to live our lives with intention and impact in everything we do.

The Venue. Why did you choose it above anywhere else?

We chose our Fairview Laguna Seca because it felt like the perfect reflection of our vision for the day—beautiful, meaningful, and aligned with the atmosphere we want to create. When we visited it, we immediately pictured our ceremony and celebration there, and it just felt right. It also fit well with our guest experience and overall flow of the day, which made the decision easy.

What experience do you want to give to your guests?

We want our guests to experience a celebration that reflects God’s love and faithfulness in our lives. Our hope is that people see what God can do in anyone’s story—how He can bring healing, restoration, and purpose, and how His love brought us together in unity. We want the day to feel meaningful, joyful, and grounded in faith, where people not only celebrate our marriage but are also encouraged by what God has done in our journey together.
