About the Couple

The Story

Honestly, we met on Hinge. When we first started dating, Brayden knew right away that he wanted to marry me... like right away (he said he knew after our second or third date). I was terrified because he was a random man from the internet, and I was scared because he was also my first boyfriend. Brayden will say this until the day he dies, that it took multiple miracles for our relationship to happen because I was so on the fence for a while, but now I'm head over heels for him.

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?

Our memories constantly fail us as time goes on, the last thing we want is to forget so many parts of our wedding day. Brayden and I want a way to remember the emotional impact our wedding day had on our lives by capturing that on video and photos.

Why did you choose us?

WE WANT OUR WEDDING VIDEO TO FEEL CINEMATIC! We want something different than what you usually see for wedding videos. Your videos feel like a movie. Brayden is a massive movie junkie; it's one of his favorite things to do-- to watch movies and learn all about them. So to have a wedding video that feels like a movie about us and a day that we will cherish forever is extremely exciting for us.

You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?.. What’s important in life?

I'm currently a Critical Care nurse, and Brayden is the Premium Suites Sales Manager for the Minnesota Twins. For us, our faith is the most important aspect of our lives. We both go to a non-denominational church that we love and have built an incredible community with. We want our ceremony to show how important our faith is. Another aspect of our lives is that I'm Ugandan American. We don't know exactly how that part of our lives will show in our wedding (since we're also doing a ceremony in Uganda), but that is important to us. We are both so unserious outside of our jobs. We are constantly laughing and having fun, we love going to sports events together, double dates with friends, and just trying new experiences together.

The Venue. Why did you choose it above anywhere else?

It has everything we want. We wanted to be close to the Twin Cities, but it feels like you're in a different country. We love the natural lighting, high ceilings, and the fact that it looks so beautiful on its own. On top of that, we want our day to be stress-free as much as possible. So having a venue that works well with a local caterer, has decor, and a day-of coordinator in the cost just made it all worth it for us.

What experience do you want to give to your guests?

We want the day to feel like a fun dinner party. We want the ceremony to be candlelit, romantic, and show how much we love God. For the cocktail hour to feel intimate, even though we have a lot of guests coming. And for the reception to feel like the most memorable and fun time you've had for a long time. We want our guests to have so much fun, like a fun date night with their loved ones, or a girls' night out on the dance floor. We want them to have a good meal, a reason to dress up, and a drink on the dance floor!
