A heartfelt wedding at Saint Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock, surrounded by Colorado’s mountains, open skies, and quiet beauty.

Evan and I met back in August 2018 at a college weather meeting at the University of North Dakota. We’re both degreed meteorologists, but he’s also a commercial pilot, and I recently transitioned into a marketing role. We’ve been close friends since 2018, but started dating shortly before graduating in May 2021. We were long distance for about two years after that. He lived in Boston and I lived in Omaha. We traveled back and forth between the cities to see each other frequently. Back in 2023, we moved in together, and we’ve been living together ever since.
He proposed to me in Rocky Mountain National Park on our 4 year anniversary of us dating on May 8, 2025. It was the easiest yes ever!🥰
We want to capture this special day in the best ways possible. Ideally, this day will only come once for us. So there’s a lot of pressure to have it captured the best way possible. Evan and I are both pretty down-to-earth people. We both love the natural beauty of nature, and don’t want our day to seem overly posed or edited. I think we have the perfect photo and video team to help us capture it the best way.
I truly think Topher Films is the best fit for us! We’re looking for people we could connect with and have a relationship with for the big day. Overall, we think you’ll be able to capture the moments the way we dream of.
Evan is a commercial pilot and is based out of ORD. He spends about half the month flying and out-of-town.
I am a marketing manager for a company that provides services to finance institutions.
The days that we have together we really focus on catching up and getting quality time together. The days that we spend apart, we try to call each other at least once per day for at least a few minutes—or whatever we can spare.
Ceremony: St. Catherine’s Chapel on the Rock, Allenspark, CO
— Evan is Catholic and I am non-denominational Christian. It means a lot to him and us that his cousin, Fr. Mark, marries us in a Catholic Church. St. Catherine’s is a gorgeous, breathtaking place, with a lot of history. We can’t wait to get married there!
Reception: Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, Denver, CO
— Given that Evan and I are both nerds, this place was absolutely perfect for us to have our party in! We both love plane spotting and storm chasing. When we toured this venue, we knew it needed to be here. It felt like us.
Our ceremony will be more intimate, with about 60-100 guests since the Chapel is relatively small. This will be a very cozy, traditional, and warm ceremony. Without a first-look before the ceremony at 1pm, we’ll be taking most of the pictures afterwards. For guests invited to the ceremony, we would like them to experience this very special moment for us and know that they are some of the people who are closest to us.
Our reception is where we’ll have everyone invited—about 250 people have been invited. This is where we really want everyone we love and care for in one spot for our big day. We want it to be an unforgettable wedding reception full of sights, experiences, good food, amazing cake, and lots of dancing.
