An elegant, unforgettable celebration unfolds amidst the historic grandeur of The Venue at 400 North Ervay.

Cole and Brenna first met in college at Texas A&M, running in similar circles but the timing wasn't quite right. In the middle of Brenna’s senior year, Cole and Brenna ran into each other several times, but nothing came out of it just yet.
Fast forward a few months to the summer of 2019, Cole was in Houston for an internship, and Brenna was in College Station for grad school spending her summer weekends visiting Houston. Fate, friends, and Cole's persistence brought them together while getting to know each other better. Brenna invited friends to her family lake house for the 4th of July, and Cole got “roped into” coming along. That weekend, Brenna’s parents were even quick to ask why she hadn’t brought this "good-looking boy" around sooner! It was the weekend that sparked it all and Cole asked Brenna on their first official date.
Their connection was undeniable on that first date with Cole even calling in "sick" to take Brenna on their second date the next day. Just two months later, Brenna brought Cole to the Hill Country to spend the weekend with her parents. Shortly after, Cole booked them flights to Colorado to introduce her to his family.
With both in grad school for the first months of their relationship, they anticipated doing long-distance once Cole graduated in December. 2020 had other plans. With the pandemic, they found themselves spending more time together between Houston, Dallas, and Brenna’s lake house. Brenna eventually moved to Dallas in July 2020, and their adventures continued. From trips to Miami, Mexico, Europe, ski trips, and countless Thai date nights, their love only grew deeper.
In July 2024, Cole surprised Brenna with last-minute flights to Spain. After exploring Madrid, Barcelona, and Ibiza, he proposed during sunset on a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean and mountains. It was an intimate, breathtaking moment that left Brenna completely in shock, despite secretly hoping this trip would be the one!
Now, as they look ahead to their wedding day, they’re beyond excited to celebrate their love with the people they cherish most. Cole and Brenna plan to continue building their life together in Dallas (until their lease is up), trusting in God’s plan to guide them in their next chapter!
This is the start to our forever. The only thing we take away from our wedding day outside of memories, are the photos and videos captured. I hope they will be something we get to cherish forever, show our future kids, and reflect on every anniversary.
Looked through Topher Films' Instagram, website, and watching videos, we felt to connected to strangers through your ability to capture one of the most special day of couple's lives. I love how ya'll are able to tell the whole story.
We both work remote and so we are basically attached at the hip. We love health and wellness and spend a lot of time in the kitchen together. There's nothing we love more than our favorite Thai food and movie for a date night in. We love exploring the world, traveling together, trying new restaurants, and seeing every angle of life that we possibly can. This season is the season where we are working our absolute hardest, keeping our future family in mind.
I researched about non stop for 2 weeks. We looked at a destination wedding in Mexico, we spent time touring multiple venues in the hill country, and didn't even think to look into Dallas until my mom sent us this venue. Immediately I knew that it was going to be somewhere that will soon be very special to us. I love how rich it is in history, being the old court house and post office. I laugh because I always joked about us getting married at the courthouse, but now we actually are. Dallas is the city we've called home for most of our relationship, so it only seems fitting that we will be able to get married on the rooftop overlooking the skyline that has gotten us to this moment.
I want them to first be able to feel the love we have for each other. I want them to feel welcome and thought of because they are all people that have shaped our lives tremendously. I want them to feel the energy of Dallas and the things the city has to offer. But most importantly, I want everyone to have fun!!! Most of the time guests don't remember what they ate, drank, or the exact words spoken, but they do remember how they felt throughout the day! It will be a huge party to celebrate, laugh, dance, cry, and exude joy!
