Oak + Ivy in Aubrey Texas is a beautiful spot for weddings, offering a mix of classic charm and modern style.
Jordan and I first met in high school in photojournalism class. He also played football for my dad, so we knew of each other, but we didn’t really talk much back then. During college, we had a mutual friend who would bring everyone together during breaks and holidays, which kept us in touch over the years.
After college, I moved back to our hometown while Jordan was splitting his time between Lubbock and DFW, looking for a job after graduation. One weekend, he invited me to Lubbock to watch my very first college football game. That weekend changed everything—Jordan later told me that’s when he realized he wanted to start dating me.
Not long after, he got a job offer in DFW and moved back. From that point on, we talked every day, and after our first date, everything just fell into place. We both knew exactly what we wanted, and we found it in each other.
When Jordan decided to propose, he secretly teamed up with one of my friends, who happens to be a photographer. My friend told me she needed couples’ photos for her portfolio, so of course, I agreed to help. During the photoshoot, Jordan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the most perfect moment, and I couldn’t have been happier to say yes.
We want to be able to always have a vivid memory of one of the best days of out life.
We love Christopher's style and passion for videography. It shows through his work!
We always seem to stay busy, as we both work full time and are proud homeowners. When we have
free time, we love to hang out with friends and family, or just sit on the couch and have a date night at
home. The most important thing in life to us is family.
We both wanted an outdoor, garden-type ceremony and Kaylee loves the 'garden party' theme so Oak + Ivy Venue is perfect.
We want them to relax and enjoy themselves.
