It was March of 2019 in Tampa, FL, Davis drove from Orlando to visit his friends for a fun weekend and Carly was having a girls' night out at the local saloon, the Soho Saloon that is. Davis points at Carly from across the bar and he and his friends walk over. Davis said to Carly "Hey! We've met before!" He then reminds her about the time they met a year ago while watching the FL Gator game. Carly and Davis hit it off and the next weekend he drove back down to Tampa to take her out on their first date.

​About two years ago Davis and Carly made the difficult decision to leave Florida and move to Colorado for the opportunity to live near the mountains so they could always be hiking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. They cannot wait to celebrate with their friends and family and show them how beautiful Colorado truly is.
