About the Couple

The Proposal

Charity and I met through work in college. We immediately found a lot in common and connected through this. I (Kyle) proposed to Charity on September 21st, 2024, in the great city of Austin, Texas, where we currently reside. It was a surprise proposal along Lady Bird Lake near downtown. This area of Austin has been one of our favorites since moving here and seemed fitting that the proposal take place there. We had the joy to include most of our immediate family at the proposal which meant the world to both of us as we are both very close to our respective families.

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?

We want to capture our wedding on video because it will be the only tangible thing we will take away from that special day. Of course, we will never forget those memories or emotions we will experience on that day but putting it on video to enjoy years later will be held close to our heart.

Why did you choose us?

Charity was searching for photographers/videographers and was drawn in to an advertisement for Topher Films on Instagram and she was thoroughly impressed with your work. She specifically loved the way Topher Films was able to capture the most important day of other's lives.

You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?.. What’s important in life?

Charity is an Actuarial Analyst for a private firm in Austin, Texas. I am a Financial Services Representative (aka stockbroker) at Charles Schwab & Co. Outside of the 9-5, we enjoy spending quality time with our two puppies, Charlie and Stanley. We also enjoy going on dates and trying new places to eat (we are foodies), as well as running and exploring Austin.

The Venue. Why did you choose it above anywhere else?

We loved how Kiesling Ranch felt so natural and relaxed, with all that beautiful space outside.

What experience do you want to give to your guests?

We want our wedding to be a gift to all of our guests. So many of them helped us be able to get to this day, we want them to be able to celebrate with us and enjoy themselves.
