We first met at a work event. Both of us are real estate professionals, and Huy had been invited to a networking event with Amayrani’s real estate team. That’s when Huy spotted Amayrani, standing behind a Paloma that was almost bigger than her head. He walked up to start a conversation, and from that moment, the connection was instant. Over the next six months, our friendship grew deeper until we eventually started dating.

One memorable moment in our story happened in Las Vegas. Huy had a work conference there, and I just happened to plan a friends’ trip to Vegas at the same time—pure coincidence, of course! While Huy attended the conference by day, he spent every free moment with me and my friends. On the second night, he managed to steal me away for some one-on-one time.

That night, we walked the strip together, sharing jokes, laughs, and the crisp desert air. Eventually, we found ourselves at the Flamingo slot machines, where we shared our first kiss. At that moment, Huy felt like he had truly hit the jackpot in Vegas—without spending a dime!

Since then, we’ve shared so many adventures. We’ve traveled to national parks, reconnected with family in Mexico City, and relaxed on California beaches.

One year into our relationship, we found out we were expecting our first baby! Now, as we approach our two-year anniversary, we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our wedding.
