About the Couple

The Proposal

Daniel and I met about 13 years ago, we started off as coworkers, he kept his distance from me(I was pretty stuck up then lol) we then became friends then best friends, and all of our friends “Assumed “ we were dating long before we actually started dating. Eventually we couldn’t deny the feelings and we eventually ended up together and have been partners and best friends and lovers ever since. We celebrate 12 years together on 3/20/2024 just a few days before our wedding. We have lived a life together for over a decade and my family is his and his family is mine. We are so excited to celebrate us truly becoming Husband and Wife, and to celebrate the true joining of both of our family’s. With both coming from different backgrounds Daniels family being Mexican American and my family being Vietnamese we have learned that even though our families come from two places very far apart that we still share so many cultural similarities.

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?

Even though we have been together for 12 years we have never had both sides of our family join like this, his fathers side the Zamora’s from Mexico, and his mothers side the Rincon’s from the valley(Celebrating 5 generations of family). My mothers side the Luu’s from Saigon,Vietnam and my Fathers side the Tran’s also from Saigon, Vietnam. This is more than just a wedding and celebration of our marriage but a family gathering and family reunion that we may never get to celebrate or get together like this again

Why did you choose us?

We were searching last minute in Instagram, and I Topher Films on my feed and we saw your work and took it as a sign! We are so excited and blessed to have y’all shooting our wedding for the deal that you gave us!

You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?.. What’s important in life?

Daniel is a DJ, Christina is a Hairstylist, we spend most of our free time together,it’s very rare that we are apart besides at work, we own and breed French bulldogs, our 4 girls are Lola,Lucy,Lila and Lolly. We are very obsessed with being dog parents lol and love our babies. We love our family and family is definitely a big focus of ours, we have moved away to NYC for a while but eventually moved to Arizona and back to Houston to be close to family. We look forward to starting our own family and lining up our future to be able to spend more time with our families

The Venue. Why did you choose it above anywhere else?

We chose the Rosenberg Civic Center because it is close to where his grandparents and most of his moms family lives, we have had several family events there( last May we celebrated his grandparents 70th wedding anniversary there) and we wanted a big enough venue for our friends and family, it to be close enough so the family wouldn’t have to travel far, and for us to be able to bring in outside catering to be able to have both Mexican and Vietnamese cuisine at our wedding. Food is a HUGE love language in both of our families so catering was something we were very specific about

What experience do you want to give to your guests?

We went into planning our wedding as “This is Our Marriage, But the Family’s wedding” we wanted as many people who wanted or could be involved to be able to do so. We want this to be a day for everyone to remember, Good vibes, great people, lots of love during this gathering with good food, drinks and great music! A true Celebration of the joint of our families
