A romantic mountain wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines, surrounded by pines, stone architecture, and Colorado’s natural beauty.

We met back in high school, but it wasn’t until senior year that we finally started dating. Our first date was at the Denver Aquarium, we were both so nervous, just trying to work up the courage to hold hands for the first time.
Silas was the first to say “I love you.” It was late at night in Golden, Colorado; we were sitting by a river, talking about everything and nothing, and the words just came out. Annie said it back right away, we both just knew.
When we left for college, we knew it wouldn’t be easy. Silas went to Hillsdale in Michigan, and Annie started at Pratt in New York before transferring to Lipscomb in Nashville. Four years of long distance meant we really had to choose each other, over and over again. We’d visit when we could, spend holidays together, write each other letters all the time, and talk every day, even if it was just a quick call or playing video games together.
We both still keep every letter we sent each other: boxes full of notes covered in doodles, cartoons, little portraits, and our favorite silly drawings. It’s our reminder of all the miles we crossed and the time we put in, and how much we’ve always believed in us.
We want to remember all the real, genuine moments like the look on the groom's face when he sees the bride for the first time that day, and the way we hold each other, dance together, and steal glances when no one’s watching. Our vows mean so much to us and really feel like the heart of our wedding, so we’d love for those words and emotions to be captured, too. We imagine photos that show the elegance of Annie’s dress, with dramatic shots in motion — the dress flowing, us leaning in for a kiss, or sunlight shining through the veil. But we’re also a little goofy together, and we’d love for that side of us to come through, along with all the laughter and joy of our guests just enjoying the day with us. We’d love to have those tiny details we chose so carefully — the rings, the outfits — preserved, so we can look back and remember not just how it looked, but how it felt to be surrounded by so much love.
We saw your work on Riley and Nehemiah’s wedding, and really liked it; the price for your package also fell within our budget, which was exciting.
