The Proposal

We met on Bumble! 6 years ago, Konstantinos went on his very first date using Bumble with me, and him not knowing that i was thinking I'm going to quit online dating and he would be my last date. On our first date, Konstantinos taught me how to drive a stickshift car and i was very nervous. But he said i did very good. And our first date went very well as we both love to talk about travel, history, food, and going on adventures.

Konstantinos has been planning to propose for a long time but didn't think his ideas were grand enough for the moment. After waiting for the right time, Konstantinos proposed in Rome, quietly as he asked two middle aged women to hold my camera to capture the moment. I had thought we we're just going to take photos, but he surprised me by proposing. We were ecstatic!

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?

It's the highlight of our lives formally celebrated with our people. Konstantinos and i are very private and quiet about our relationship, but our wedding is a day of love shared together with our loved ones and to capture such momentous event is important to us. Memories fade in time, but recorded and tangible mementos of a beautiful day is worth holding on to, not just for remembrance, but also to have something to show to our children in the future.

I saw the ad. I clicked the link. I liked the style of photography and videos. And i just hoped you guys will pick us. Thank you!

You guys? …What do you do?..How do you spend your days?.. What’s important in life?

Konstantinos owns a good truck that serves Greek inspired dishes in NYC. Most of his time is dedicated to his business as he endeavors to serve the community a high quality food and service. He pays great attention to what he does and with all the extra time he has, he spends quality time with me.

I work as a physical therapist assistant in a nursing home. My time is devoted into helping the elderly with functioning as best as they could in order to go home and be safe within the community. In my spare time, I like to create clothes through crochet, sewing, and embroidery.

On days when we're not so busy, we like to escape our busy lives and travel. We very much like to spend time in Paris- we both love the history, art and food.

The Venue. Why did you choose it above anywhere else?

It encompasses the aesthetic we're both attracted to. We love old things and when we travel, we love going to castles and seeing art. The Branford House is so beautiful, the interior details and the landscape didn't leave us a moment to hesitate. We were just lucky we got the very last spot available for 2025.
