A wonderful celebration surrounded by towering redwoods at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings in Colorado.

We have been together since August 2018. Our mutual friends were "dating", Olivia was in the summer of her junior year of high school and Ben had just graduated from their high school (Fairview High School in Boulder). We spent the summer going on adventures with mutual friends and then started hanging out alone and realizing there was something special about one another, we just weren't sure what.
After "setting up" our friends with one another, Ben's friend suggested to him that maybe we should watch a movie together, the two of us. We watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (Olivia's all time favorite film) and cuddled. After both feeling butterflies in our stomachs and leaving with a smile on our faces, we decided to go on an official date to Carabbas on August 10th and it's been strong since then!
Ben started the semester at Chapman University in California, but then realized this relationship was worth fighting for and transferred to CU Boulder after a semester. Once it was Olivia's time to graduate, she also chose CU Boulder. We chose each other time and time again and that is why our relationship is so strong.
We both shaped our careers around one another and Ben started his own LSAT tutoring company to work from home and Olivia found a remote marketing job.
We lived together for 2 years before Ben proposed. Olivia started hinting at it starting in July of 2023 when her mother brought up their family ring. Olivia's family ring is an original Tiffany from a wedding in the 1850s and is an Old European Cut no longer made. When Ben proposed he took out the left and right diamonds and gave one to her mom for her wedding ring and one to her younger sister for when her time came to get engaged and replaced them with lab grown diamonds as ethics was very important to Olivia.
Ben picked a random Friday when Olivia got off work early and took her up to the spot we used to spend time at when we first started dating as teenagers (Flagstaff Mountain) with their small dog puppy, Lewis. They went out on the rock overlook and as Olivia looked away at something Lewis had barked at and back, Ben was on one knee with her family ring. It had started to snow beautiful flakes, but was warm it looked like something out of a fairytale.
My parents had a documentary style wedding video and Olivia's sister and her watch it all the time to remember the voices of family that passed and see what their parents looked like at 23 and 24 years old and freshly in love.
Price and your style is exactly what we were looking for.
We spend our days with our dog, going on adventures, and trying new restaurants. What's important in life is family, love, and generosity/community.
We both work from home and remotely and are moving to Lago Vista, Texas soon as we both have been in Boulder since before we can remember.
The natural beauty, significance of Boulder and the Boulder Canyon, it's all inclusive, and my mom's family grew up going there when it was a restaurant (The Red Lion).
A wholesome, traditional, family focused wedding that honors the people who got us to this point in life and helped aid us in our love. We want it to feel timeless and that we put special care into every aspect of it.
